Tai chi and its health benefits

taichi

Some of us see older people practicing tai chi.It is a slow moving form of exercise.Perhaps we wonder if they are getting any health benefits from it.Other than getting a good work-out it has been found that practicing tai chi has been found to reduce the risk of shingles and boost the potency of a vaccine against the virus that causes shingles, researchers said on Friday in New York.Tai chi can strengthen the immune system in the elderly.

Exercise at home to better health and a cleaner home

clean

Not everyone has to go to the gym. There’s the inconvenience of driving, traffic jams, parking and dressing up.Do it in comfort within the confines of your home.Cleaning is a form of workout that can burn 200 calories an hour.

Take the stairs. If you are staying in apartments or condominiums get off above or below a few levels before the actual floor.Walk up.If you live in a double-storey-home,alternate between floors.Don’t finish your cleaning on one floor before doing another level. This will inject more stair-work into your routine.

14-year-old gang raped in Besut by futsal team.

Lock up the boyfriend and throw away the keys.

The futsal team are idiots. The girl is underaged.Hope they will rot in jail.

The poor girl. She is too young.Probably didn’t expect this to happen. How can a 14 year old expect to have a serious relationship with a 20-year-old?

A police report was lodged on Thursday.Based on the report, police detained the victim’s boyfriend and two others between 19 and 21.I hope each and every one of them will be caught.

State CID chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Hazam Abdul Halim said police were still looking for other accomplices.

New Zealand opera star Dame Kiri Te Kanawa offended by wild underwear throwing fans

kiri

New Zealand opera star Dame Kiri Te Kanawa got herself out of a sticky law suit filed by the organizers of a concert after she pulled out at the last minute. She pulled out because fans of
Australian rock singer John Farnham threw underwear at him on stage. She found it embarrassing and offensive that he collected it as some sort of trophy.

The promoter of the concert sued Dame Kiri in the New South Wales Supreme Court, claiming A$2 million (US$1.6 million) in damages for breaching her contract. She said it would be disrespectful to her if she performed.

Life as a prostitute and prostitution

prostitute

Nobody wants to be a prostitute. It is a demeaning profession and all involved are guilty of exploitation.I read an article in the BBC about children being procured under false pretenses. They then are sold to brothels. The girl’s chastity and all that she has been taught to value is gone forever in an instant. The psychological scars are immense. Not to mention the horrible existence she leads as a lady of the night or any time when the male urges need someone to xxxx.
