Sin Chew Daily and China Press highlighted the ordination of Malaysian Ou Yang Wen Feng as a pastor of Metropolitan Community Church, New York. China Press reported yesterday that Ou Yang, 37, came out of the closet last year and disclosed that he was gay. He is said to be the first pastor in Malaysia to do so, the daily said.

The daily quoted Ou Yang as saying that it had been his dream to become a pastor one day. “Since I was 17 years old, I was already preaching in churches,” the daily quoted him as saying. According to Sin Chew Daily, Ou Yang went to further his studies in the United States on the daily’s scholarship in the 90s. Ou Yang is a guest columnist at the daily.

A pastor who is a gay and in a church in New York.
Dont tell me that what the church did was wrong?
U can believe whatever u like or want..
Who is right and who is wrong?
The people of New York or the people in a third world country like Malaysia..?
A sign of the times…. huh!

Oh Laura, the world is not as simple as you paint it. I wish it was. This is a very controversial issue. :)

Yes, this world is very complicated because people dont want to simplify things and must make it so complicated that they can interpret any way they liked..

It also depends on which world u come from.It is better to be simple and let others be complicated..If they want to be complicated, it is their right.

I can only see with my simple understandings…and I believed that God only reveals to those who have childlike minds .

See but u shall not see
Hear but u shall not hear

As I have said , religion is just u and God and not u and others and God.Others can think what they want or like. Everyone will be judged by God…whether u believe there is a God or not…

Every issues seems to be controversial these days .What u eat, wear and do is controversial too..keke!

Some churches follow the bible, some churches may not..who is right and who is wrong?
God will’s everything to happen.Only God knows why the church have a gay pastor.Who are we to question God or the people who choosed a gay pastor?

God did not appoint anyone to be my custodian of my soul. Why people want to be a self appointed custodian of my soul and control my thougths and actions? If anyone want to worship the devil or other Gods or be an atheist, that is their right.

    Should abortion’s be legalised.?

If u are living in a country where there is the separation of the state and church, this is possible that abortion can be legalised but without the church consent .

If u are living in a country where the state is also the church, then such a matter will not be considered.Neither if u are living under some other religious govt and abortion will never be legalised.

Abortion is only legally possible if the person has been raped and with a child or the mother’s life is threatened . In any religious country , abortion is banned and illegal.

Even in the Christian country like Phillipines, family planning is a very hot issue. Children are a gift of God and to practice family planning or encouraged family planning by the govt is against God’s law.

Because abortion is not legal , many unmarried girls or those who want to terminate their pregnancies will go to those back lane doctors or quacks to do the operations and some of this doctors botched it and the woman dies or lead to complications in later life.

Since it is illegal, these woman has no recourse and jeopardize their life.If it is legal they would go to a qualified doctor .

What is abortion? The termination of pregnancy before the fetus is capable of independant life.
Once a fetus is formed, is it without life?It is a life except that it has to depend on the mother for all it’s nourishments.

People need to abort for various reasons. They were raped , sex without precautions and pregnancy as a result or they could not afford to feed another mouth or because the pregnancy threatens the mother’s health.

There are two types of abortion, spontaneous or induced. Those who got married and got pregnant but the fetus got aborted ., also known as a miscarriage. Most woman experience this. There are many reasons of which I cannot relate here as I am no doctor..keke!

The other type is induced.Induced abortion is deliberate termination of the fetus.

There are four standard procedures according to the period of gestations. For up to twelve weeks, the first trimester
the suction or vacuum method. The cervix is dilated and a canula ( a small flexible tube)is joined to a vacuum pump.To ensure that no fragments are left in the womb,a spoon tipped instrument called the curette is used to scrape the lining of the uterus. This is called the dilate and curette method or D & C.

For the second trimester, they may use the forceps with the vacuum as above and is called dilation and evacution or D & E.

After the fifteen week, a saline infusion would be given after some fluid is taken out and this would induce contractions and the fetus is expelled.

Late abortions have to be done surgically , a caesarian operation to remove the fetus.

Some young girls have no sex knowledge of the bird’s and bee’s and as a result got pregnant .
Some parents will marry off the girl while some will seek an abortion .

In this country , dont expect it to be legalized…U just have to do what u have to do , legal or illegal…

Some of these young girls without support, finances and shame hide their pregnancies and when they give birth all alone , they abandoned the babies…dead or alive.A tragic tale….and the govt enforced the marriage certificate act before u can register the baby’s birth contribute to more abandoned babies..

I think it is a controversial issue to only those who do not understand because some people want others to accept their belief. Some wise people think they are right and only they have the sole right to decide what u should or should not belief or do,and want to force other’s to follow what they believed.

Some of these self righteous people have one tracked mind and they can only see for themself and not others. They will show u and interpret according to their intelligence what is said in the bible to proved their claims.

If u are a good and thinking Christian, u dont judge because whether a person stand or sit for God,it is God who allow them to sit or stand. What is is to u whether a person stands or sit while worshipping God?So all those controversial issues are non issues if u follow this way of thinking.Respect others if we want others to respect us .But if people dont respect us, so be it…to each his own.

I can accept gay people and gay pastors and who ever judged me , they will answer to God , just as I am answerable to God for my acceptance of them.Whoever wants to condemned me ,let them…I am not bothered.

That is why I belief in Christianity, no one can force u to belief what u do not want.NO govt can enact any laws to force me to do what I feel is wrong like in some religion.

Even famous evangelist in US are against each other .They are also human and imperfect .There are fanatics in every religion. That is why u have cults .

God will reward those according to their deeds….

This is a true story of two famous T.V evangelist in the US. Some of u may not have read it but I think it happened in the 80’s
They were very popular and they preached every week in the T.V and their ministry received many donations , in millions.

One day news came to one of the evangelist that a certain evengelist frequented the whore house. He employed some private investigator to collect the proof and this evangelist was exposed and he had to give up his T.V evangelist role.

This tainted evangelist then hired some PI and investigated that same evangelist and he was also found in the same situation and was exposed in the media.

Both evangelist lost their jobs…u be the judge..Some said it was the work of the devil..I think they got too big for their head and acted like they have become God….
