How do we develop a gentle and quiet spirit? Sometimes, it’s the little steps—looking in the mirror less often. When I am tempted to stare at myself and criticize, I choose to stop and praise God for blessing me with a working body—a body that can be used to further God’s kingdom. Most importantly, it’s finding time to just sit and rest with God. Set aside the world’s and your own expectations and allow him to work in you life. Let him develop in you the “unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.â€

Open channels of communication between a child and the parents
When u have any problems and you cannot solved them , please dont run away and hide.Do not be afraid to ask for help.If u cannot solve it by urself , please seek ur parents or friends help.
They are better experienced and may give u a sanctuary to get some relief from ur troubles. Some people dared not asked for help from the parents because they are afraid when their parents come to know off their problems , they will scold them.Do not worry.
In ur dyfunctional mental stage, u could endanger yourself and make some big mistakes which will destroy ur future life.
In ur disoriented mental stage, u may not realized that ur parents care about u and want to help u , for they loved you very much.Your problems is their problems.
U can cause ur loved ones to be very anguished and worried about ur safety. U may not know but ur parents and others loved u.What are parents for? They are ur support and lifegiver.Do not worry about the past or that u are not a filial son/daughter. Parents can forgive u and will always help u when u are in trouble.

One in 10 young girls are prone to eating disorders
It is no wonder , u seldom see any young fat woman around but mostly slim girls with tight and revealing body hugging dress in many public places.
Some are very fortunate to be born like baby dolls or ‘Barbie girls’ but the majority will have to watch what they put inside their mouth or count the calories before they tuck inside their mouth.
Most girls are very super conscious bothering on the maniacal level for their body shape. I wonder how many times they looked into the mirror or when they pass any mirrors on the wall.
It is like a a regimented life they have to live inorder to keep a slim and petite body like celebrities Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
During my time , there was this super thin model , Twiggy who looked so thin like a stick and had a flat chest.. I don’t know whats so beautiful about a scarecrow body ,but it was the rage in my younger days.
Young girls these days go to all sorts of trouble trying to keep a thin or slim body.They may starve and eat little or exercise a lot to shed those extra pounds.They abused the body and because they did not eat enough calories, their bodies suffered until they had eating disorders
The two most common eating disorders are anorexia nervosa (when one engages in self-induced food restrictions and excessive exercise although underweight) and bulimia nervosa (uncontrollable overeating or bingeing, followed by self-induced vomiting and purging via the use of laxatives).
Eating at regular hours is must or u can get gastric pains.When those girls develop eating disorders , they will have to go to SG for treatment and which can cost 1K per day. So u girls better becareful , want to be pretty but don’t want ur life.Whats the point ?
The eating disorders usually are not easily detected and when the problems manifested, with drastic or sudden loss of weight or when menstruation is affected, u will be in big trouble.
The media and society at large is the cause of all these problems .They portray an ideal image of woman with a very slim figure as attractive ,and popular..Many girls then ape or follow that ideal image and go to great length , even starving themselves to fit into those moulds. This is a crazy world…

If it is anybody’s fault , it is only ur own .U were at the wrong time and wrong place. Blaming others is only pinpointing other’s fault but never ur own.
Do not blame others but look inwardly on how u could have managed the problem in another way.Be philosophical about it. Whoever is right or wrong, the fault is usually on both sides.

Online dating..
Meeting a man/woman online and keeping him/ her interested??
U will meet many men or women online and whether u are interested in him /her will depends on both ur chemistry or needs. Are u looking for ur Mr. or M/S in view of friendship or marriage?
U hear of stories of people finding their life partners from the internet and also horror stories of people who got cheated or conned by fraudsters or sleazy people.
Recently , a cassanova from PG was caught for cheating about 40 women whom he met online and later met in real life. Such incidence are not many but we need to becareful and be smart when we want to meet the guy/gal from the internet..Guys too are not safe as like in the Holland case.
Anyway, if the conditions are met , meeting ur online friend can spring lots of surprises. Ur virtual world becomes a real world and u can see the real person.Whether u want to develop or further ur relationship will depends on what u see and feel after the meeting. U may think u know that person after chatting with for sometime in the net but in reality, it takes a longer time to really know somebody.
Many women made the mistake of getting ‘emotionally’ involved with another person in the net, but this person maybe not what he portrays.in real life. In the virtual world , he could be acting like anybody since he is anonymous, but in real life , he maybe a shadow of what he is in the internet.It is not to say everyone is like that. There is a probability that such things can happen to ur friend.
U may discover that he looks so much different when he is online. And if u spend more time together, u would find that he is another person..the real person..keke! In real life , a shy person could be acting very brave in the net.. An introvert can be an extrovert in the virtual world.
Now that after the vetting process and u find that he is eligible and u want to show interest in him/her, u need to walk a fine line of not showing too much or playing hard to get. Normally , I think , if they liked each other, it becomes a natural thing for them to go to the next stage..dating or writing love letters or love notes to each other and being more intimate with each other. And finally to tie the knot…Goodluck in ur quest.

ATTRACTION IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN
What and why men and women are attracted to one another?
Why some men/women are attracted to others and not to some.
There are two types of attraction , physical attractions or sexual attractions and intellectual attractions..
It will all have to depend on which type u are , the physical or intellectual or both.
U could either be attracted by his physical charms or his intellectual charms or both.
Attraction is not easy to define. It is like a chemistry, when ur eyes meet and u see all the way into his soul.He has got that something which can make ur heart jump or float to heaven or some celestial stars..keek!
When u talk to him , he seems able to flow with ur frequency and his replies are witty and u find it such joy to listen to. He is able to engage u on ur own turf and u think of him as being gorgeous ,charming and sexy. That is physical and intellectual attraction. The spark that can ignite a romance instantly, or move mountains and u become intoxicated ..keek!
This attraction between them is like a fire when started , need to be stoked and more woods added to burn brighter and longer. Initially , it would be the men who will be on fire and will try to ignite and spark her fire place in her heart.Once , the fire is ignited in her heart, she will burn brighter than him and will either keep the man’s fire going brighter or doused the man’s fire.
Some men wont know what they are getting into until the trap springs shut..keke! Women are inborn natural trappers or hunters and the men are like animals which strayed into their traps .Once the men enter their trap , the woman will lead them deeper until they don’t know how to find the way back..keek!They then get ‘cucuk( a rope thread through the nose to control them ) like the buffalo and become domesticated.( as in marriage)
