Signs of Eye Problems in children..

Not all eye conditions cause your child discomfort, so it’s quite possible that your youngster won’t cry or even mention a problem, thinking that what he or she is experiencing is something ordinary. Call your child’s pediatrician if you observe any of the following symptoms:

* frequent eye rubbing
* squinting or frowning when trying to focus on something
* blinking with unusual frequency
* tilting or turning the head to see better as a regular practice
* stumbling over small objects
* inability to see objects clearly in various light conditions
* frequent headaches
* red-rimmed, encrusted, or swollen eyes
* bloodshot or watery eyes
* sties that develop frequently
* any accident that might have caused injury to the eye, including contact with an aerosol spray, or impact from a blunt or sharp object

    Keeping In Touch With Grandparents

    To be a grand parent is like being given another chance at parenting . This time , they can dote on their grandchildren with more love and understandings. They are not under any stress and they are more experienced in taking care or handling the grandchildren.

    Some of us are lucky , we have two sets of grandparents and who stay near or with us. There are others whose granparents are located far away and may not see them often.

    As a parent we want our children to keep in touch with them often . Our children will bring some cheers to our old parents.

    We may not be able to travel back frequently if we stay far from each other.

    How can you as a parent keep your children in
    better touch with their grandparents?

    Every couple of weeks, have your child
    take a picture to send to his/her grandparents. If your parents have a 3G phone,you could video call and see them or send a MMS if your parents have that feature in their phone.

    Another way is by using your pc,have a camera installed and you can chat with each other.Or he could send them e-mails and pix attachments .
    This way , you will always be in contact with them even though a great distance separate you.

    Our parents are old and we are so busy and the years pass by unnotice by us and soon some of them may leave this world. When you have them ,cherish them b

    Memo From God

    To: YOU Date: TODAY From: THE BOSS
    Subject: YOURSELFReference: LIFE I am God.
    Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please
    remember that I do not need your help. If life
    happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot
    handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in
    the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. All
    situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.
    Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold
    onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all
    the wonderful things that are present in your life
    now. If you find yourself stuck in traffic;
    Don’t despair. There are people in this world for whom
    driving is an unheard of privilege. Should you
    have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been
    out of work for years. Should you despair
    over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who
    has never known what it’s like to love and be loved
    in return. Should you grieve the passing of
    another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits,
    working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her
    children. Should your car break down, leaving you
    miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who
    would love the opportunity to take that walk.
    Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think
    of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had
    hair to examine. Should you find yourself at a
    loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what
    is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who
    didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity.
    Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s
    bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember,
    things could be worse. You could be one of them!
    Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you,
    you may have touched their life in ways you will
    never know!
