Transexualism-the third gender

When an individual who was born physically into a man’s body but feels and act like he is a woman ,it is known as a transexualism. Part man and part woman. If you were to determine his sex by the normal physical standard, he has the external male organ and thus is classified as male .If you decide his sex by the psychological way, he is a female.

Some could be more female than the real females . Others may morphed somewhere between the butterfly larvae and the
adult butterfly. The degree of feminization depending on their low or high hormonal levels.

Some babies are born with both sexual organs and are known as hermaphrodite. When they grow older, they will have to decide which sex they want to belong to.

Our Asian society is more conventional and having a third gender person can challenge the norms of the society .
In most societies, these people are neither here nor there except in Thailand where they are accepted as who they are.

Most of these people are unable to find work and got involved with the sex trade. As a result , many parents stereotype them and their children grow up having the same thoughts as them perpetuating the stigma of those people.

To these people , you are either a male or a female and if you are not , you are an aberration,or a misfit of society. These people believed in the traditional way of life and having a third gender may destabilize the structure and concepts of their society.

They cannot imagine what the world would be like if their children have those tendencies and become one of them. When it strikes their family , only then ,they will come to accept the inevitable and come to terms with it.

Our society is slow to change and there are many social prejudices against the transsexuals The woman can accommodate them as sisters if they were their friends but when it is someone they don’t know , it can be frosty or downright unacceptable and it depends if they are beautiful or ugly. She will respond in kind. It is the man who cannot accept them and they give problems to these people.

These people just want to live their own life as a woman and if provoked or taunted, can fight back like a man.

Many people do not understand why they become like that. It is not that they asked for it but the urge to be the other sex is very strong in them and will not give them the peace if they do not change into a woman..

Today’s Verse from the New Living Translation

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

    Encouragement for Today

As women, our roles provide us with hands-on experiences as mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives. Our faithfulness in these roles throughout our daily lives gives us examples of how to be devoted to God. In the end, there is no formula for our devotions as long as we are faithfully serving and setting apart ourselves and our time to focus our minds and hearts on God.
